With the holiday
season upon us, the word “bounty” surfaces frequently in
conversation. I’m especially keen on the bounty of
good new restaurants that have been heaped upon us this season. Two
State Street restaurants, Thai Siam and The Bayou, recently opened
to much acclaim from happy patrons. And then over on the
west side of town, 3rd West Bistro has morphed into Cucina Toscana,
which may just be the best Italian restaurant in Utah. The
authentic Tuscan cuisine served family style (that is, as informally
as you’d like it) at Cucina Toscana is killer. And
I love that the restaurant encourages customers to bring their kids. Children
are warmly welcomed at Cucina Toscana in the true Italian manner. The
restaurant also recently began serving lunch, which means you have
no excuses left. It’s time to check out Cucina Toscana.
